Cookies & Privacy Policy

Who am I?
My name is Jane Collison. My website address is: equilibrehealth.com.

What personal data my website collects and why
Comments:
When visitors leave comments on the site, the website collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms:
Cookies. If you leave a comment on my website, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded content from other websites:
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Other forms:
When you complete a new client questionnaire, your data is only stored by my website until I collect it. I print out your client questionnaire and then delete your online answers and data.

I store your printed form in your client file (along with my notes of our sessions together) while I am actively working with you. I then archive your records for a total of 7 years – as required by my professional body and insurers.

News/marketing emails:
If you opt in, your details will be stored in my website contacts and I use them to keep you informed of my news, health news, special offers, etc. If you change your mind about receiving these emails, I will delete your details from the website immediately upon receipt of an email from you asking me to do so.

How long I retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Website visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

I do not share your data with any third parties, except:

  • if I refer you to another practitioner – which will always be with your full agreement in advance).

  • to order or create orders of supplements and remedies for you
