Far Infra-Red Sauna & Red light therapy: new treatments

As the end of Summer approaches, I'm excited to introduce Red Light and Far Infra-Red (FIR) Sauna therapy to my treatments. We all know how good it feels to bask in warm sunlight. Well, red and far infra-red light give 80% of the same spectrum of light (without the damaging UV rays). The benefits are:

  • increased circulation (blood & lymph flow)

  • reduced inflammation

  • oxygenation of cells

  • improved immunity

  • reduced pain and stiffness of muscles and joints

  • promotes healing

  • boosts collagen production

  • increased energy levels

  • improved moods

  • better sleep

  • detoxification boost

  • rest and relaxation

See summary studies here.

My Far Infra Red sauna dome combines ultra low EMF (electro-magnetic frequency) heating technology with tourmaline discs for the ultimate far infra-red experience. FIR is sometimes called the Light of Life because of its deeply penetrating healing power. There is also the option to include Red Light therapy.

The dome can be placed over any area of the body - I especially recommend the back or abdomen as it includes all the vital organs. The best time of day to experience Light Therapy is before midday - but of course any time is good for sauna.

Also available is a smaller Red Light panel which can also be chosen as an ADD-ON to a Massage treatment - or used in combination with the sauna. The panel can be placed on or under any area of the body where its healing light would be of benefit.

A full one-hour Light Therapy session costs just £60 and can include massage or healing (or not). Click here to book.

Alternatively, the dome and/or panel can be chosen as an ADD-ON to a full-body Massage treatment. Click here to book a Massage as a new client. Or, click here to book if you've had a massage with me before.
